Financial Therapy (Group, Individual and Couples)
What is Financial Therapy?
It is a process informed by both therapeutic and financial competencies that helps people think, feel, and behave differently with money to improve overall well-being through evidence-based practices and interventions. This process allows REV Wellness Therapists help people reach their financial goals by thoughtfully addressing challenges, while at the same time, attending to the emotional, psychological, behavioral and relational hurdles.
What is Marriage and Family Therapy?
In marriage and family therapy, the unit of treatment isn’t just the person – even if only a single person is interviewed – it is the set of relationships in which a person is embedded. Our Therapists treat a wide range of serious clinical problems in this area including: depression, marital problems, anxiety, individual psychological problems, and child and parent problems. They are mental health professional trained in psychotherapy and family systems and licensed to diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and family systems.
What is Couples Therapy?
Couples Therapy or Relationship Counseling is inviting a collaborator into the life of your relationship to help you and your partner grow. Just as every individual who comes to therapy needs something different, so do the needs of each couple vary from relationship to relationship. Couples Therapy is a kind of therapy which offers relationship support for all types of couples, it is the same premise as marriage/family counseling with the same techniques to help the relationship work its way back to love and connection.
Many people wonder if you need to be married to seek counseling for your relationship, and the answer is ‘no.’ You may or may not have ideas about what sort of help you need (and you and your partner may have different ideas) but we know that any committed relationship can benefit from our Therapists and we don’t use pre-set programs, our Therapists learn about your relationship and together create a plan that work for the both of you.
What is Individual Counseling?
Whether you’re trying to improve your mood, change a behavior, or better navigate your emotions, we help make those goals a reality. Our approach is to empower you with practical and personalized skills to cope with stressful situations, emotional experiences, and personal relationships. At REV Wellness Group, we work with you to identify triggers and beliefs around distressing situations, develop strategies to help navigate these and reduce your emotional distress. Our aim is to not only make you feel better, but to get better!
